About Use of Technology in Procurement
There are numerous technologies out there designed to support the procurement profession, but which is right for you and your organisation? What are the opportunities for you to improve processes, decision-making, measurement, management and, most importantly, outcomes? How do you ensure that you will get the best results from a technology deployment and overcome the challenges associated with implementation, user adoption and change management? How do you make the business case for deployment and measure the benefits?
This brief survey will assist CIPSA Conferences to structure a special programme to best meet the needs of potential delegates, by identifying those issues you think are most important.
The Use of Technology in Procurement Forums are scheduled for 25th November in Sydney and 30th November in Auckland.
Special Interest Forums and Special Category Forums
In late July and early August, CIPSA Conferences staged the first three Special Interest Forums on Low Cost Country Sourcing, Outsourcing Procurement and Sustainable Procurement. When asked the question “What was your overall impression of the conference?” delegates gave the highest marks ever received for CIPSA Conferences, with well over 90% of delegates marking them as either excellent or good. Further Special Interest Forums are planned for 2011.
In 2011 CIPSA Conferences will also launch a series of Special Category Forums, providing category managers with the opportunity to explore in detail the latest thinking in “best-practise” management of the category, obtain supply market intelligence, and most importantly, to network with and learn from other category managers facing the same challenges.
These last few questions are designed to assist with identifying appropriate topics for Special Interest Forums and the most popular categories for the new Special Category Forums.
