Namejs Kins MCIPS, National Procurement Manager, Automotive Holdings Group
Namejs Kins has 15 years global procurement & operations experience, working across five continents and several industries. Prior to his current role as the inaugural National Procurement Manager at Automotive Holdings Group, Namejs was General Manager Procurement at Austal Ships. Before that, he was Executive Manager Procurement for Kailis & France Foods, and then Chief Procurement Officer, for Murdoch University.
Having worked in operational roles before his evolution to procurement, Namejs has a functional view of supply chain principles. He has an Honours degree in Business and served 13 years in the Army Reserve within the Australian Intelligence Corps.
Tony Davey, Manager - Strategic Projects, Rio Tinto
Tony Davey, B-Tech (Ind.Eng.), MBA, has 15 years of experience working in various roles focused on reducing business costs. The majority of this time has been spent reducing costs (11 yrs) through the application of strategic sourcing and other supply chain optimisation practices. He has gained much valued exposure to best practice during his tenure with two prominent global supply chain consultancies. This experience has been expanded on through the implementation of many of these practices at various blue chip multinationals. Tony is passionate about his profession and as such serves as the WA Regional Chair for the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Mark Ingram, Chief Executive Officer,
Business for Millennium Development
Mark Ingram served as the New Zealand Consul General to Victoria and Trade Commissioner for Biotechnology from 2003 – 2007. During this period, Mark brokered the establishment of the Australia New Zealand Biotech Alliance, founded the New Zealand Victoria Business Group, and led the first official visit of the Victorian State Premier to New Zealand in over 50 years. Prior to his diplomatic posting, Mark had worked for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise as an Export Consultant from 2001-2002. Mark also spent 7 years working in international trade with Anthony Marquet Ltd (1999 – 2001) as Trading Manager and with the large Japanese trading house Kanematsu Corporation (1994 – 1998) as Metals Division Assistant Manager. Mark is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Advisory Committee for Human Security at La Trobe University. Mark is married to Niki and they have a young son.
Clive Nielsen, Regional Manager – WA, The Portland Group.
He is an experienced procurement professional with over 30 years involvement in engineering, procurement and management in the mining and minerals processing industries, mostly with Alcoa. He has held a variety of specialist and management purchasing positions including responsibility for the development of supplier relationship models and processes and the commercial management of a major global alliance relationship.
Clive has led an e-Sourcing initiative for Alcoa and been responsible for the development and implementation of processes to optimise the opportunities for Global Procurement.
Clive brings years of practical knowledge on how organisations interact both internally and externally and how high performance relationships are developed and managed on local, regional and global levels.
Through his involvement in procurement and business policy determination and implementation, he has a deep understanding of companies’ drivers and those of their suppliers and customers.
Prior to joining Portland Group he provided independent expert consulting services in the fields of Alliancing, Supplier Relationship Management, Global Sourcing and e-procurement and he is an accredited Elite Trainer Facilitator and licensee for Tony Lendrum’s 0-10 Relationship Management™ tools and processes.
Most recently Clive has been involved with a wide variety of industries from rail transportation, building manufacturing, rural distribution and grain handling through to mining and oil & gas extraction and processing. Activities have ranged from organisation structure and process consulting to procedure development and spend analysis through to sourcing strategy development and implementation.
Christoph Guettinger, Operational Account and Consulting Manager, Quadrem
For the last 9 years, Christoph Guettinger has worked in the space of organisational performance improvement and consulting. At Quadrem, Christoph manages service delivery and provides consulting in the key areas of electronic procurement, spend analytics, sourcing and processes, with focus on Quadrem’s key customers in the Minerals and Resources industry.
Before joining Quadrem, Christoph held the position of Regional Manager for an international procurement service provider. Based in Shanghai, Christoph managed the business of the Asia Pacific subsidiary. Christoph has led international teams through numerous strategic sourcing and procurement optimisation projects. With 5 years of first hand experience in China and Asia Pacific, Christoph has been a published contributor to the international business press and invited speaker to procurement conferences and seminars in China, Germany and Australia.
Christoph holds a Master degree in Public Policy and Management.
