Is global sourcing just about driving lower costs as per the low cost country argument or is it increasingly about sourcing the right goods at the right price? Which markets are the best sources for particular types of products? Are there centres of excellence for certain types of goods and are there markets to avoid? What are the opportunities and what are the risks of particular markets? What skills and knowledge do you require to source globally and how do you manage the risks? These are the types of questions we will be posing as we develop the conference programme over the next couple of months.
